Job Summary: Maintains all electrical equipment within Palisades Tahoe buildings in working order.

Applicants must be 18 years of age.

Hourly:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $22.96 - $56.64 per hour

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Assures safety compliance
  • Evaluate electrical problems and decide on a plan of action.
  • Follow directions given by Building Electrician manager.
  • Completes all projects in a timely manner.
  • Partners with manager and team to ensure the highest standards of work.
  • Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.
  • Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
  • Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Good knowledge of various test equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Competencies and Job Requirements:

Required:

  • Knowledge of how electrical systems work, understanding of National Electrical Code.
  • Knowledge of Relay Logic and PLC based control systems.
  • Industrial Electrical construction skills
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
  • Public Safety and Security- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
  • Customer and Personal Service- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer sati Must be familiar with how electrical systems work.
  • Must own electricians hand tools, meter, drills, and saws

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of frequently carrying, lifting. pushing or pulling up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the work place is usually moderate. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and operating machinery. They will be occasionally exposed to extreme hot/cold and wet conditions, fumes or airborne particles. Employee will be required to work on uneven and limited footing locations. Working surfaces can be loose or slippery as well.

Experience/ Education

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working as an electrician
  • Commercial industrial electrical experience
