Job description

Contract Description: Relay Express is seeking reliable, full-time driver with their own Cargo Van or Sprinter for a daily pick up in Erie PA that will deliver to Akron OH
You will do a pick up everyday in Erie PA at 3pm that will deliver straight to Akron PA. There may be additional work as well in our Cleveland area
Responsibilities:
  • Perform a mix of out-of-town (OOT) expedited deliveries and local deliveries.
    • We are primarily ON-DEMAND. Orders come quick and often. Courier must have the ability to respond quickly, communicate ETAs, and have schedule flexibility that enables them to complete OOT deliveries. Oftentimes, couriers will be driving overnight for deliveries due early the following morning. Examples: Massachusetts / Connecticut / New York / Chicago / Atlanta, GA and more!
  • Ensure timely and professional transportation of freight while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Maintain clear communication with the operations team for job assignments and delivery updates.
  • Keep vehicle in top condition and follow all safety and compliance regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Must own a Cargo Van or Sprinter in reliable condition.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • At least 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle both long-distance OOT hauls and local deliveries as needed.
  • Full-time availability and flexibility for varying delivery schedules.
