Grounds Maintenance Worker

At Nebraska Crossing, we are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Grounds Person to maintain the aesthetic appeal and safety of our outdoor shopping center. You will be the frontline associate ensuring our property remains clean, welcoming, and well-kept year-round.
Job Duties:
  • Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the property and maintain clean disposal areas.
  • Hardscape Upkeep: Sweep walkways, clear loose debris, and pressure-wash sidewalks, patios, and seating areas.
  • Seasonal Landscaping: Perform basic plant care, including watering planters, pulling weeds, and raking leaves.
  • Weather Response: Clear snow from pedestrian pathways and apply ice melt during winter months.
  • Property Inspections: Actively monitor the grounds and report maintenance issues, vandalism, or safety hazards to management.
What you need:
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and safely lift up to 50 lbs throughout an entire shift.
