  • Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-while adhering to established protocols.
  • Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and handle maintenance and calibration tasks on laboratory instruments.
  • Assist in the collection of specimens and their preparation for testing as necessary.
  • Keep detailed documentation of all procedures, contribute to new staff training, and ensure adherence to lab quality assurance standards.
  • Ensure a sterile and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Education Requirement
  • A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, combined with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Certification Criteria
  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within your first year of employment.
  • Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.

  • Ability to demonstrate independent judgment and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
