About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, curious student assistant, apprentice, or intern to join our Agile IT team, working closely with Enterprise Applications, IT FinOps, BI, and AI team members.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in developing and deploying AI-driven solutions to automate and optimize internal business processes such as IT operations, finance, and reporting
  • Build and maintain analytic dashboards and data pipelines that empower IT and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with IT leaders to enhance system integrations, data quality, and reporting capabilities through AI
  • Support the design, development, and testing of internal tools using AI and automation frameworks
  • Document workflows and assist in creating training materials for new solutions adopted by internal teams
  • Stay up to date on emerging AI technologies and share insights with colleagues
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency, business intelligence, and system performance
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve issues in AI-supported applications, ensuring high reliability and user satisfaction

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree with exposure to programming, data, or AI through coursework, projects, or internships
  • Interest, coursework, or experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  • Solid programming skills in Python preferred, or Java or C++
  • Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning concepts and techniques
  • Experience with or exposure to libraries and frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Azure Machine Learning SDK, or OpenAI Python SDK
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services including Azure AI Studio, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Blob Storage
  • Understanding of data structures, APIs, and working with structured data using SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional IT teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document and present progress
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, test-driven, and agile SDLC environment
