We are searching for a talented Interventional Radiology Technologist
*$12,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*
Hours: 32hrs
Shift: Day shift with weekend, holiday and on call rotation
Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities
Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Interventional Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patient-s chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others and aware of MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures.
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, and attainment of post-primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Interventional Radiology RT(VI)/(CI)/or (CV)
  • Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
  • Post-primary certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography and ACLS is preferred.
  • RT Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Cardiovascular Credentialing International is required.
  • Post-primary certification and ACLS is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay Range
USD $42.84 - USD $64.28 /Hr.
