Certified Personal Trainer / Group Fitness Coach

D1 Training Fox Valley is seeking Certified Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Coaches to join our D1 Coaching team!  D1 is an athletic-based group fitness and sports training facility for ages 7 & up with a mission of providing the best fitness philosophy and facility to its athletes, empowering them to improve themselves by efficiently and consistently reaching their fitness goals.

At D1, our promise to our athletes is to say: “You pick the goal, we help you get there” and D1 Coaches are the catalysts for our fulfillment of that promise!  D1 Coaches implement and instill the D1 training philosophy into every workout.  They exhibit the ability to adapt and customize programs in the workouts in order to tailor them to our athletes. They take a personal stake in the lives of our athletes, maintaining constant personal contact and monitoring their individual progress toward their goals.  They are given a great platform through the strength of the D1 brand to build a book of personal training business that can include a wide range of youth, adult, collegiate and professional athletes. D1 Coaches are a part of the best training environment in the industry and are integral to the success of D1 as it continues its rapid growth across the Chicagoland area and the country.

TRAINING:  A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s athletes (Scholastic ages 7-18, Adults, and Teams) by:

·       exhibiting passion, expertise, high-energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service

·       assessing and aligning each member with the proper program

·       ensuring that every D1 workout and program is implemented in a safe and consistent manner according to D1’s 5-Star Training System

·       building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member

·       coaching D1 group training classes

·       personal, small group and team training

·       delivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition

LEADING:  A D1 Coach must be a leader on-and-off the turf and inside-and-outside the facility by:

·       focusing on D1’s Mission

·       exhibiting D1 Character

·       living by and teaching D1’s Core Values

·       training, developing, mentoring and managing D1 athletes

·       maintaining the training space and equipment

BUILDING:  A D1 Coach must build D1’s brand and business by:

·       building relationships with local scholastic, sports, community, government and business leaders

·       generating new members and maintaining existing members

·       contributing to marketing efforts through community events, seasonal programs, camps and combines

·       contributing to content for social media platforms

·       striving to become a key opinion leader in the community and industry

Required Qualifications and Experience:

·       Nationally recognized & accredited certification

·       First-Aid/CPR/AED training/certifications

·       Ability to communicate effectively
