Job description

Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PMHourly Rate: $18.94 an hourESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Be familiar with Plant Safety Rules and Guidelines.The spray field lead will always set a good example by following all Safety and GMP Rules and Guidelines and ensure that all fellow associates in area follow them too.Must be able to work effectively alone and with other departments.Follow all requirements of permits issued from controlling government agencies.Collect water samples in a timely manner and start sampling equipment. Operate machinery, tractors, mowers, and applicator tank. Assist maintenance in the repairs of equipment.Willing to learn some general maintenance of equipment.Obtain Forklift Operators license or be able to within two weeks.Prepare daily reports and update the Environmental Supervisor and EHS Manager.Ability to frequently lift 50lbs. Maintain accurate and legible daily spray field records Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Environmental Supervisor or EHS Manager Have daily plans in order to reach daily, weekly, and monthly goalsQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge of basic spray field equipment.Possess a valid driver's license.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Wet, noisy, variable temperature depending on time of year.
