We are seeking an experienced Landscape Operations Manager to oversee daily landscaping operations throughout the Dayton market. This role is responsible for managing crews, scheduling projects, maintaining quality standards, controlling labor and material costs, and ensuring excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have strong landscape operations experience and working knowledge of the Aspire business management system.
Key Responsibilities
  •  Oversee daily landscape maintenance and enhancement operations. 
  •  Manage crew leaders, field employees, schedules, and job assignments. 
  •  Use Aspire to manage scheduling, work tickets, labor hours, materials, job costing, and operational reporting. 
  •  Monitor job performance, budgets, productivity, and profitability. 
  •  Coordinate equipment, materials, vehicles, and staffing for scheduled work. 
  •  Conduct site visits and quality inspections. 
  •  Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to customer expectations. 
  •  Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate field employees. 
  •  Review timesheets and verify employee hours within Aspire. 
  •  Maintain consistent communication with customers and address service concerns. 
  •  Partner with sales and account management teams on enhancements, renewals, and additional service opportunities. 
  •  Track equipment maintenance and ensure crews have the tools needed to complete their work. 
  •  Enforce company policies, OSHA requirements, and safe work practices. 
  •  Assist with snow and ice operations, including staffing and scheduling, when required. 
  •  Support budgeting, forecasting, and continuous-improvement initiatives. 
Qualifications
  •  Three or more years of landscape operations or field-management experience. 
  •  Previous experience supervising multiple crews and job sites. 
  •  Working knowledge of the Aspire landscape business management system is required
  •  Understanding of landscape maintenance, enhancements, irrigation, hardscaping, and seasonal services. 
  •  Experience with scheduling, job costing, labor management, and budget accountability. 
  •  Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. 
  •  Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  •  Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. 
  •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile technology. 
  •  Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are a plus. 
  •  Snow and ice management experience is preferred. 
Physical Requirements
  •  Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
  •  Ability to walk active job sites and stand for extended periods. 
  •  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary. 
  •  Availability to work early mornings, extended hours, and occasional weekends during peak seasons or weather events.
