Job description

Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a permanent role with a hospital client in Madison, WI where you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Licensed by the State of Wisconsin.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting required.
  • BLS certification.
  • Willingness to work night shift: four 12-hour night shifts per pay period plus two 8-hour PM or day shifts; weekend rotation as required.
  • Willingness to float to any of the organization's clinic locations to provide coverage during staff absences and vacancies.
  • Candidates must not have applied directly to this position for eligibility through an agency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Radiologic Technologist experience.
  • Knowledge of Epic Ambulatory EMR, RIS, and PACS.

  • $7,500 sign-on bonus.
  • Student Stipend Program eligible: Career Launch program provides up to $1,500/month for up to six months prior to graduation and a $500 bonus after licensure.

Job Summary:

  • Perform routine radiography and other medical imaging procedures for diagnosis or treatment in a clinical hospital setting.
  • Apply knowledge of patient handling, physics, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and radiology to develop optimal imaging techniques and evaluate images.
  • Perform minor clinic clerical duties as needed.
  • Report to the Medical Imaging Manager with an indirect reporting relationship to the Clinic Administrator.
