Job description

Position Specifics:
Department: Administrative
Reports to: Store Manager
Supervises: N/A
Purpose: Performs custodial work in offices, warehouse, shop, and other building interiors. Maintains the outside lot and helps portray a positive image at the dealership.
Responsibilities:
  • Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polished floors using proper equipment
  • Follows assigned cleaning schedule
  • With the use of ladders, dusts and washes walls
  • Cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures, as needed
  • Empties trash cans for all areas of the facility
  • Washes and replaces blinds
  • Cleans and maintains restrooms & supplies
  • Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas
  • May remove stains from surfaces, such as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using proper chemicals and cleaners.
  • May sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, and remove snow during the appropriate seasons
  • Arranges equipment on the lot
  • Maintains the lot for seasonal conditions, such as mowing the lawn and snow removal
  • Assists in the parts, sales, and service areas, as needed
  • When applicable, plugs in equipment for internal transfer & customer pick-up
  • Load equipment for internal transfers
  • Charged with facility repairs; coordinates maintenance calls when required
  • When primary responsibilities are completed, acts as secondary wash bay tech and during heavy workloads
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to handle heights
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Basic data entry and keyboarding skills preferred
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license
