Job description

Veterinarian

Madison Animal Hospital is looking to add a compassionate and skilled veterinarian to our team. Madison Animal Hospital has room for you to grow here! We have just recently expanded into a new construction hospital and that means new opportunities for part-time or full-time associate veterinarians to join our friendly, competent, well-organized team in Madison, Maine.

Madison is a beautiful small town nestled on the banks of the Kennebec River in the scenic foothills of Maine's western mountains. Sugarloaf Mountain enthusiasts will feel right at home here, just 50 minutes from the Maines's third-highest peak! The area offers skiing, resort & hiking trails. We are conveniently located minutes from historic Skowhegan, the county seat of Somerset. Less than an hour from the state capital of Augusta.

We are a full-service small animal facility focused on providing high quality, comprehensive, and compassionate veterinary care. Our experienced support team and veterinarians are capable mentors and teachers. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Hospital hours are Monday - Friday and no weekends so you can explore and enjoy your choice of the local features - natural areas, historic towns as well as cultural and seasonal events.

We enjoy 6 spacious exam rooms, 4 with electric lift tables. Designated patient wards, ICU, surgical/dental and treatment areas. The hospital has a fully equipped IDEXX laboratory, ultrasound, two Bovi radiosurgery units, new x-ray unit with lift table, and digital dental radiography. The fresh design features a spacious reception area and lobby with abundant natural lighting. We have workspaces that work for you! We made sure the new footprint included a quiet dedicated doctor's area along with options in and near the hub of patient care in the treatment area as well.

Get up to a $100,000 incentive bonus!
