This role will support the day-to-day execution of production, product development, and operational workflows across the business. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, is exceptionally detail-oriented, communicates proactively, and enjoys keeping moving parts organized and on track.

This position requires someone who can balance precision with urgency, anticipate needs before they arise, and help ensure seamless coordination between vendors, merchandising, design, tech design and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Vendor Coordination

  • Support production timelines from development through bulk delivery
  • Communicate daily with overseas factories and vendors regarding approvals, timelines, shipping updates, costing and production status
  • Track development, TOP, and bulk production samples across all stages
  • Help monitor production calendars, WIP reports, and delivery timelines
  • Flag potential delays, risks, or inconsistencies proactively to leadership

Product Development & Operational Execution

  • Assist in maintaining and updating of our internal seasonal production tracker
  • Coordinate tag, label, packaging, and trim development with vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Help manage approval process with samples, trims, submits, fabrics etc
  • Support landed cost verification, freight tracking, and operational reporting
  • Help maintain accurate On Order Reports and production trackers
  • Assist with style setup and operational execution across wholesale, retail, and marketplace channels

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner closely with Design, Tech Design, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure alignment across timelines and deliverables
  • Maintain clear and timely communication across teams
  • Help prepare reports, approvals, and production updates for leadership review
  • Support fit sessions, sample organization, and follow-up communication

Process & Organizational Support

  • Keep production files, trackers, and approvals organized and up to date
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce rework, and create operational efficiencies
  • Jump in wherever needed — we are a collaborative, fast-moving team where flexibility and ownership are essential

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in apparel production, product development or sourcing
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with tech packs, BOMs, and production workflows
  • Experience working with overseas factories and vendors
  • Knowledge of freight, landed costing, or supply chain operations

  • Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude
  • Passion for product, operations, and brand building
  • Excitement to grow within a rapidly scaling fashion brand

Why Join Marea

  • Exposure to all aspects of the product lifecycle and operations
  • Fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with significant growth opportunity
  • Collaborative culture rooted in creativity, accountability, and excellence
  • Be part of building a modern heritage lifestyle brand

Benefits

  • Health insurance
  • 3 weeks PTO
  • All federal holidays
  • Paid winter break (Christmas through New Year's)
