Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Product Manager with a strong background in Professional AV (Pro-AV) technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across all major display technologies, with high-end Projection and Direct View LED (DVLED) experience considered a significant advantage. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and customer-facing experience.

The candidate will act as the primary product expert for internal teams and key customers - driving market insights, competitive analysis, product positioning, and sales enablement efforts. This role collaborates closely with sales, engineering, operations, and marketing to deliver world-class commercial display solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Define product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the entire Large Format Displays (LFD) and Installation Projection product category.
  • Analyze market trends, customer use cases, adoption patterns, and competitive movements to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create detailed business cases, product proposals, and investment recommendations.
Product Lifecycle Management
  • Lead cross-functional development activities with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams.
  • Oversee SKU strategy, pricing structure, cost targets, and margin optimization initiatives
  • Serve as the commercial product expert for sales teams, channel partners, and key enterprise customers.
  • Support sales with product training, customer demos, and high-impact presentations.
  • Gather customer feedback and translate it into actionable requirements for product enhancements.
  • Participate in strategic customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Drive end to end development of strategic products case studies, by identifying success stories partnering with the Marketing team to capture measurable outcomes and ROI
  • Own P&L including cost, pricing and promotions across customers and channels
  • Partner with key Sales and Customers on specific / seasonal programs and pricing to manage profitability and achieve forecast
Supply Chain Management
  • Partner with Planning and Sales to drive forecasting, and related decisions to optimize sell in/out
  • Build relationships with key customers around CPFR activities and planning
  • Develop and own strategies that manage risk and opportunities for excess and obsolete
Technical Expertise & Support
  • Work with local and overseas engineering and technical support teams to resolve complex customer issues or pre-sales inquiries.
  • Create technical documentation, competitive matrices, and solution guides.
  • Lead comprehensive product education initiative by designing and delivering structured training programs, technical workshops, certification sessions and webinars that enhance internal and partner understanding of new products and emerging technologies.
Go-To-Market Execution
  • Lead product launch processes including messaging, positioning, sales tools, and marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop go-to-market campaigns, product videos, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend improvements to ensure long-term success
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Required:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial product management or equivalent technical product role.
  • Strong understanding of B2B hardware, especially Large Format Displays, Direct View LED, Pro-AV Projection and Interactive Flat Panels.
  • Proven ability working with sales teams, channel partners, and key enterprise customers.
  • Strong understanding of key customers and channels including seasonality, buying behavior, programs and promotional execution
  • Technical aptitude with display technology, AV installation environments, connectivity, and control systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with global teams in engineering, supply chain, and marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or related field or > 10 years of experience in a directly related role will be considered.
Preferred
  • Experience with professional AV integrators, IT resellers, and commercial display channels.
  • Knowledge of software collaboration tools, embedded systems, or enterprise device management platforms.
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills
