Seasonal Delivery Driver (Inter-warehouse/Box Truck Driver)

General Job Description

Delivery Driver is responsible for the daily customer service on a given route, which distributes a high volume of packages (That may weigh up to 60 pounds) and is responsible for moving product through the warehouse. In this role, you will pick, pack and load trucks. Having the trucks packed carefully and on time with the correct product. The success of the work performed in this position is a critical element of our company's ability to meet the needs of our customers.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Freight Wrangler: Unload shipments like a pro — whether by hand or with trusty tools like forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Quality Checker: Inspect incoming goods for damage, verify quantities, and make sure everything's up to snuff.
  • Wine Road Warrior: Drive company trucks to deliver wine to the right place, on time, with all the right paperwork.
  • Delivery Doc Master: Handle pickup and drop-off documentation like a champ to keep service smooth and timely.
  • Dispatch Communicator: Stay in touch with dispatch for updates, changes, and new instructions — you're always in the loop.
  • Log Keeper: Maintain travel and cargo logs that meet all federal and state requirements — no shortcuts here!
  • Safety First: Follow all safety regulations and keep operations compliant and secure.
  • Clean Machine: Keep company vehicles and workspaces clean, organized, and ready for action.
  • Show up and shine- be reliably present and punctual, keeping things on track and on time.

Qualifications for the Job

  • Minimum High School or GED, or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience as a logistics driver.
  • Clean driving record

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting.
  • Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Repetitive movements
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
