Description

Are you passionate about plants, shrubs, and creating healthy, beautiful landscapes?
Russell Landscape is seeking a detail-oriented, self-starting Horticulture Spray Technician for our Nashville branch. In this role, you'll perform targeted plant health care applications, monitor landscape health, and help keep our commercial properties thriving-all while emphasizing safety, precision, and professionalism.


A valid Tennessee Category 03 license is required.


Your Daily Impact

Apply horticultural chemicals-including insecticides, fungicides, and plant growth regulators-safely and accurately to ornamental plants and landscape beds.
Calibrate, operate, and maintain spray equipment with expert care.
Diagnose landscape issues by identifying insects, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stress.
Maintain detailed and accurate application records and property notes.
Read, understand, and follow all pesticide labels and application instructions.
Assist with landscape tasks such as pruning, bed maintenance, seasonal color installations, or other property needs as required.
Follow all company procedures, safety protocols, and state regulations.
Represent Russell Landscape professionally while interacting with customers and teammates.
Communicate clearly with team members and clients to ensure smooth, coordinated operations.

Requirements - What You Bring to the Table-

Valid Tennessee Category 03 (Ornamental & Turf) pesticide license   Valid driver's license and eligibility to drive for Russell Landscape   Experience in horticulture, plant healthcare, landscaping, or related fields preferred   Knowledge of mixing, handling, and applying pesticides according to established programs   Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely   Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions   Self-motivated, dependable, and genuinely passionate about helping landscapes thrive
