Your Opportunity, Your Team
  • The Assistant Creative Designer supports QVC and HSN, the development process of private label product for QVC and HSN Proprietary / Collaboration Brands.Assist in interpreting the brand's direction to design and source product appropriate for the target customer. This role also supports the product Lifecyle day-to-day management through product development, sample management and PLM process implementation.Support all aspects of the product design process including market research, sketching, materials, trims, and color selection from concept through final approval.Support in preparing for product meetings and WIP management/TNA, creating presentation boards, data entry, receiving and sending out packages, logging samples into FLEX PLM system, color approvals, and special projects as needed.

Where You'll Work
  • This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at ((location)) several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). What You'll Do
  • Maintain awareness of seasonal trends.
  • Assist presentation materials for trend, color, and product assortment.
  • Supports in developing seasonal color palettes.
  • Manage specific fabrics for the season, work with sourcing team to build library.
  • Manage tech pack creation and in putting design details and sketches.
  • Maintain and update development documentation in FLEX PLM and support the design team through the design and sourcing process, capturing all changes.
  • Create flat sketches for designed apparel styles.
  • Adhere to the seasonal time and action calendars.
  • Assist in the tracking and approval of fabric samples, lab dips, strike-offs, and other development materials.
  • Communicate on a daily basis with overseas offices on color, design, and hard home/ culinary substrate comments.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelors in Fashion Design, Textile Design or Fine Arts.
  • Experience working in a PLM system (we currently use FLEX PLM)
  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite- primarily experience working in photoshop and illustrator
  • Color comments and matching
