Deloitte's Perspective on Sustainability

At Deloitte, we believe now is the time for thoughtful, strategic, human-centered action on sustainability and climate fueled by this moment of historic access to technology, capital, and a collective desire for measurable change. We are living through a dramatic shift in the tension between company and societal good - redefining the value exchanged between the business and its employees, customers, suppliers, and communities - with full recognition that new growth comes from managing the interests of what's good for people, planet, and prosperity. Above all else, we value impact, trust, fortitude, and creativity in our efforts to advance this cause. We show up with empathy, tenacity, and wonder as we walk our clients through some of today's toughest sustainability challenges. Our range of Sustainability services uphold these values while helping our cross-sector clients tackle problems related to their sustainability strategy and transformation - charting and achieving paths to net zero and decarbonization, activating equity within and outside of organizations, building and enabling responsible value chains, understanding and managing physical and transition risk, and measuring and sharing sustainability impact.

The work you'll do

In this role as a Senior Consultant, you will be a part of a dynamic team within our Sustainability practice. We help our clients digitally transform their Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality and Sustainability operations to ensure they are operationally compliant, productive, safe and sustainable while minimizing the damaging impacts on the environment, people, and society.

As a subject matter expert in Environmental Health and Safety Management Information System (EMIS) solutions, you will join our client-facing project teams that leverage Cority as the primary platform. You will use your functional and technical skills throughout engagements, serving as a subject matter expect through the full implementation life cycle which would include advising clients on best practice, mapping and analyzing end-to-end business processes and solution configuration.

 * Engage in the full project life cycle - project scoping, requirements, design, implementation, testing and ultimate deployment.

* Provide objective, independent advice on off-the-shelf or custom-built, third-party technologies using your knowledge of the market presence of these technologies for our clients

* Serve as a subject matter expert to provide solution-specific insight/be an escalation point for design decisions and potential configuration issues

* Serve as a power user of collaborative technology, and champion new and innovative business solutions within established and emerging technical architectures.

The team

Our team consists of environmentalists, technologists and creatives who have deep understanding in technologies in the market and provide real world advice to our clients to design and implement solutions. Authenticity is celebrated as each team member brings their own brand of storytelling and experience to the group.

As a Senior Consultant you will join a dynamic team focused on building data-driven considerations into client sustainability solutions. We catalyze large-scale change addressing the climate crisis, increasing social inclusion, and fostering leading governance practices that embed stakeholder capitalism into organizational operations. Our Sustainability team embodies a culture of purpose and empowers every team member to channel their passions into their work. Deloitte's Sustainability team expands on other organizations' more traditional ESG endeavors by centering our services, investments, and corporate allyship to meet the needs of people, our planet, and a prosperous future.

Basic Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering or related degree with an environmental or safety focus.

 * 5+ years of experience implementing Cority (CorityOne) - delivering one or more clouds-Environmental (formerly Enviance), Health, Safety, Quality, Analytics, Sustainability-through the full lifecycle

 * 5+ years leading an EMIS solution-enabled EHS transformation across the full project lifecycle (end-to-end or by workstream), including owning delivery planning and execution; facilitating requirements and design workshops; directing a cross-functional technical team through configuration/development and integrations; managing SIT/UAT and defect triage; coordinating release management, cutover, and go-live; and driving post-go-live stabilization, hypercare, and transition to steady-state support.

* Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

 * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
