Experienced Carpenter – Full Time

Valish & Company is looking for an experienced, dependable Full-Time Carpenter to join our growing team.

We are looking for a well-rounded carpenter who is comfortable working across multiple phases of residential and commercial construction. Our companies perform everything from remodeling and additions to insurance restoration, roofing, siding, windows, doors, and general construction.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with:

Rough and finish carpentry

Framing walls, floors, roofs, and additions

Interior remodeling and renovations

Drywall installation and basic finishing

Installing interior and exterior doors

Window installation

Trim, baseboard, casing, and finish work

Cabinet installation

Flooring installation

Decks, porches, and exterior carpentry

Siding, soffit, and fascia

Roofing and roof repairs

Water, fire, and storm-damage restoration

Demolition and reconstruction

General repair and punch-list work

Reading plans, measurements, and project scopes

Working independently as well as with a crew

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who is experienced, versatile, and takes pride in their work.

You should be able to show up to a project, understand what needs to be done, and complete quality work without requiring constant supervision.

Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years of professional construction/carpentry experience preferred

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Must have your own basic hand tools

Ability to work full-time Monday–Friday

Ability to safely lift and handle construction materials

Strong attention to detail

Dependable and punctual

Professional around homeowners and customers

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
