Job description

Test Technician - Wheels

We are searching for a test lab technician with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys testing product limits in a lab environment, building wheels, and documenting results clearly. You'll be primarily responsible for structural lab testing and assembly of prototype wheels and occasionally frames, forks, and components. You will join our highly collaborative Test Team, where you'll work closely with our design engineering team to verify part designs & ensure that we only bring premium products to market. You will work on small & large projects, ranging from a couple hours to months long in duration.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Assemble wheel and frame samples for lab and field testing
  • Run lab tests to strict specifications and document results clearly
  • Manage daily lab operations including scheduling tests & inventory management
  • Maintain and troubleshoot test machines
  • Assist in root cause analysis of both lab and field failures
  • Communicate results and timelines to engineering and project management teams

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

  • Experience building wheels is a major plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with previous experience in a shop environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to communicate with teammates located in multiple time zones
  • Hunger to learn the use of complex electromechanical machines and basic data acquisition

Pay

Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:

California Base Pay Range: $30.00-$35.00/hr
