Job description

We’re seeking an experienced full‑stack software engineer to accelerate the FleetPulse platform. The role is based in Chicago, IL and requires on‑site work; relocation assistance not provided.

Responsibilities
  • Accelerate platform initiatives and ship solutions that have immediate impact on customers.
  • Own end‑to‑end feature development, collaborating directly with customers and product stakeholders to refine requirements and translate real problems into solutions.
  • Work across the full stack – backend (Kotlin/Spring, Java, or similar), frontend (React, React Native), and mobile components.
  • Lead code reviews, design reviews, mentorship, and raise technical standards for the team.
  • Champion API design, observability, instrumentation, monitoring, and platform architecture.
  • Navigate ambiguity, define scope, and drive projects forward, determining when to ship “good‑enough” versus investing extra polish.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years professional software development experience.
