Rides Maintenance

 
The Rides Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all amusement park rides and attractions. This role involves conducting inspections, diagnosing mechanical or electrical issues, performing repairs, and executing preventative maintenance on a variety of rides and equipment. The technician works closely with the maintenance team to uphold safety standards and maximize ride uptime, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for park guests.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of rides and attractions to identify mechanical, structural, and electrical issues; utilize diagnostic tools to assess ride performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on rides and attractions to resolve malfunctions and reduce downtime.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on rides and attractions according to manufacturer specifications and park guidelines to extend equipment lifespan and ensure safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and part replacements; report major repairs and required parts to supervisors or Manager.
  • Ensure all work is done following established safety protocols and guidelines; participate in ongoing safety training and certifications.
  • Respond to ride breakdowns and emergencies promptly, ensuring guest safety and facilitating repairs to restore ride functionality quickly.
