Job description

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
  • Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
  • In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
  • 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
  • BLS certification
  • Current certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or Medical Technologist American Medical Technologists (MT-AMT) certification or equivalent required in OR.

Assignment Details
  • Shift hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
  • Varied days.
  • Schedule includes 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the following week.
  • Weekend rotation begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday.
