Automated Production Welder
Pay Rate: $24.20/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift -
M-F 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. OR M-Th: 3p.m. - 1 a.m. You Choose!
Location: Broomfield, CO
Position Type: Contract-to-Permanent Hire

How you'll spend your time as an Automated Production Welder:

  • Partner with the Welding Department and Tech Ops.
  • Fabricate custom products and modify products to customer specifications.
  • Plan, lay out and perform welding on a variety of stainless-steel valves, gauges and other components.
  • Work with engineers in custom product design for production.
  • Fabricate and assemble welding from blueprints, and verbal and written instructions.
  • Modify standard valves and components per application and engineering specifications.
  • Weld various valves using automated and semi-automated equipment in a high-capacity welding cell, orbital, and robot cells.
  • Visually inspect parts coming off each weld station for defects.
  • Perform occasional leak checks and bead blasts of parts coming offline.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as an Automated Production Welder:

  • 2+ years of manufacturing related experience, including production welding, welding, assembly, or CNC operating.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Stainless Steel TIG welding experience preferred.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds.
  • Commitment to strict safety standards and personal protective equipment usage, including helmets, gloves, and protective glasses.
  • Willingness to complete background and drug screening.
