Paid Search Specialist

Media Works is looking for a Paid Search Specialist with 1-3 years' experience. Media Works is a highly respected, fast paced, and energetic integrated marketing agency located in Baltimore, MD. The agency has been in the business for over 35 years, serving a diverse client list.


Position Summary:

This position plays a hands-on role in the day-to-day development, management, and optimization of SEM campaigns. This role leads the efforts to increase site visibility, click through rates, and conversion rates for Media Works clients. Successful candidates will plan and build out SEM campaigns from start to finish by creating budget projections, researching keywords, conducting competitive analysis, and monitoring and reporting on campaign performance. This position works cross-functionally with the Account Managers to ensure client goals are satisfied.


Position Requirements/Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and optimize SEM, GDN, and YouTube campaigns based on client goals and needs including strategy rationale, key word research, campaign implementation, budget recommendations and forecasting.

Perform weekly diagnostic to ensure data is complete and accurate for SEM.

Coordinate with account teams on flow charts updates and media pacing.

Manage 3rd party vendor/platform relationships (RFP, Rep Meetings, Negotiation) pertaining to SEM.

Assist Datorama Manager with scheduled reporting building for SEM portions of campaigns.

Develop insights and optimizations for reports and campaigns for SEM campaigns and share with Account Manager.

Work with Media Works Tech to implement tagging strategy and ongoing QA.

Manage QA process post launch and throughout campaign including pacing, trouble shooting, and invoicing.

Lend insight into the optimization of client landing pages and the customer journey.

Collaborate cross team and provide support for other areas of marketing as needed.

Creating and managing SEM templates used across the agency.

Remain connected to Google to keep clients aware of SEM developments and trends.

Oversee necessary ad copy writing as requested by clients.

Develop relationship with agency google rep and push updates and information to agency teams.

Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

Certifications: Google Ads, Google Analytics

Proficient with reporting and analytics tools

Datorama experience a plus

E-commerce experience a plus

Public speaking and presentation experience
