Here you will partner directly with the agency's owners and put everything you've learned about business development into practice. You will help lead a team as we build and scale operational best practices, attract new clients and drive sustainable growth, working alongside 3HM leadership, subject matter experts and discipline leads to achieve our goals. Responsibilities:

Lead Agency Growth Lead all aspects of new business development: vetting opportunities, and leading the pitch process from start to finish Serve as agency ambassador and first point of contact for prospects, handling inbound inquiries and outbound leads. Evaluate fit based on comprehensive criteria that includes creative opportunity, financial opportunity, category strategy, and agency culture. Regularly attend industry networking events, developing relationships with prospective clients and other influential members of the marketing community.

When an opportunity comes in, ensure desk research is assigned and conducted to understand marketing context and opportunity potential. Be a great storyteller, formulating strong narratives about our capabilities and historical achievements and translating them into well-crafted RFI/RFP responses and pitch presentations.

Manage and execute the presentation development process including project managing timetables, identifying gaps in content and either writing the content or assigning appropriate content-writers, and manage all related communications and meetings. Work with 3HM design team to ensure presentations utilize approved design templates and represent our brand well. Be a proactive and highly organized multitasker who can lead multiple concurrent pitches without any missed deadlines or under-utilized opportunities.

Help lead cross-functional teams inclusive of strategy, creative, technology, production and external partners to deliver integrated flawless solutions. Build strong, collaborative and trusted relationships, partnering with the owners and internal executives, for a fast and fluid workflow. Maintain knowledge database of core agency new business assets — assess and optimize all new business collateral, leading case study development, upgrading pitch templates and improving any external properties and communication vehicles.

Work with agency leads to skillfully negotiate fees, SOWs and lucrative partnerships. Track, monitor, and report agency's growth pipeline using CRM tool. Drive Consultant-Led Pitches You will build relationships with top-tier agency search consultants and industry influencers on behalf of 3Headed Monster and ensure we are in the consideration set for right-fit opportunities. Serve as the key day-to-day contact for agency search consultants, ensuring clear, timely, and strategic communication throughout the process.

Identify industry events where top pitch consultants will be and get agency partners in front of those consultants. Lead multiple concurrent pitches through all the stages including RFP, credentials meeting, creative presentation and SOW negotiations. Manage cross-discipline pitch teams, aligning leadership and resources from strategy, creative, social and production. Develop and manage pitch strategy, write and edit RFI proposals, and organize presentations in collaboration with internal teams.

Requirements:

8+ years of total agency or client services experience. 2+ years of experience working on agency new business team. Charismatic, collaborative and great at relationship-building. Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills, integrating across teams with clarity, diplomacy and empathy. Unflapped by tight timelines and fast-paced environments and able to juggle multiple projects.

Ability to evaluate work with a strategic lens, providing clear, strategically grounded feedback and suggestions to internal teams. Understanding of the complex advertising landscape and how to bring together cohesive teams and programs to drive results. Gravitas and proven ability to swiftly establish and nurture strong relationships with potential clients of all levels, including C-suite.

Magnetic personality and energetic presence with an ability to energize staff to participate in growth activities, knowing when to collaborate on decisions and when to take the individual lead with an entrepreneurial spirit. Good listener – someone who reads people and a room and adapts their style accordingly. Ability to honor and maintain confidentiality. A commitment to curiosity and continuous improvement. Former competitive athletes or performers a plus.
