Job description

The AWS Search team is seeking a Marketing Manager to support the in-house global paid search program.
The Paid Search Manager is passionate about delivering results by applying Paid Search best practices to campaign execution, leverages data analysis to identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, simplifies existing processes, and innovates to drive long-term results. In this role, you will work closely with a group of search experts to drive the acquisition of new customers, promote the adoption of new services, generate leads, and create unique, customer-centric experiences through search.
Our ideal candidate has experience building, maintaining, and managing Paid Search campaigns, leveraging data and insights to improve performance metrics like conversion rate, quality score and impression share, running ad copy and landing page tests, and working in conjunction with other paid media channels to drive conversions.

Key job responsibilities
* Contribute to the day-to-day management of Paid Search campaigns through tactical execution and account maintenance.
* Uphold a high bar for account health and executional excellence by maintaining existing operational mechanisms and identifying opportunities to build new ones.
* Work within a group of search experts to drive acquisition, adoption, lead generation, and create unique customer experiences.
* Contribute to campaign-level testing strategies for ad copy and landing page experiences that improve the customer experience.
* Seek to answer business questions and inform decisions by diving deep into data to surface insights and make recommendations to optimize and improve performance.
* Analyze campaign performance metrics, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Challenge the status quo and push for the best customer experience.
* Insist on the highest standards and prioritize long-term results over short-term gains.
* Have a backbone, question assumptions, and strive for continuous improvement in campaigns and customer experiences
About the team
AWS Search Marketing is focused on delivering a great search experience for AWS customers and prospective customers. We manage SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and SEM across search engines like Google, Bing and others. The team sits within the Integrated Demand Center (IDC) and support its objective to build and deliver a unified customer experience that is consistent and fast globally.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
