Job description

Overview

We are seeking a full-time Digital Search Analyst at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for owning analytics, measurement strategy, and performance insights across multiple search channels. This role develops dashboards and recommendations that influence decisions and campaign effectiveness. This position also collaborates across teams to define measurement requirements, address tracking and data needs and transform data to visualize performance.

Essential Functions
  • Own reporting and analytics, delivering actionable insights to support both Search and eCommerce performance and decision-making
  • Advise stakeholders on optimization opportunities based on paid search, organic search, eCommerce, customer journey, and competitive performance analysis
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, analyze customer journeys, and identify conversion barriers and drop-off opportunities
  • Serve as product owner for product data feeds, monitoring platform health, feed quality, and data integrity
  • Develop strategic analyses and recommendations that influence search, eCommerce, and digital marketing decisions across business segments
  • Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives with Digital Marketing, IT, and eCommerce to define measurement requirements, reporting needs, and implementation priorities
  • Establish and maintain analytics, tagging, dashboards, and product feed reporting standards to improve data quality, consistency, and business usability
  • Build, maintain and enhance reporting solutions on analytics platforms to support recurring business reporting
  • Analyze paid and organic search performance to identify trends, opportunities and recommendations for optimization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and improve conversion performance
  • Create clear, timely reports and presentations that translate complex search, eCommerce, and digital marketing performance data into actionable insights
  • Manage and optimize product and marketing data feeds across digital platforms to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
  • Analyze monthly digital marketing performance and communicate key insights, trends and growth opportunities to stakeholders
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Garmin's product portfolio, customer segments and purchasing behavior to inform analysis and recommendations
  • Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Consolidate data from multiple platforms and sources into streamlined, user-friendly reporting solutions
  • Monitor competitive search activity to identify potential impacts and opportunities
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Journalism or another related field AND a minimum of 3 years of experience in digital analytics, ecommerce, digital marketing, search engine marketing, or search engine optimization experience
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and follow-up skills with proven success in meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrates mathematical aptitude to ensure accuracy of accounting documents and media schedules
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint and Excel
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 and the full Google marketing suite of tools
  • Knowledge of data visualization, event tracking, and product feed management
