Job description

Whether you come from a background in digital marketing, content creation, analytics, or a related field, you can be successful in this role. We don't require a specific degree or experience, but we're looking for translatable skills and relevant expertise. We will provide you with the training and development opportunities needed to build a career here!
About The Role:
As an SEO Intern on our Marketing team, you'll get hands-on experience shaping and improving our organic search strategy. You'll dig into SEO audits, uncover opportunities, and help ensure our websites and content meet modern SEO standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, can work independently, and wants to see their work directly impact performance and visibility. You'll collaborate with teams across Marketing, Content, and Editorial while owning meaningful SEO initiatives that drive measurable results.
Here's a snapshot of what you'd be doing:
  • Conducting in-depth SEO audits, including content, on-page, technical, competitor, link, local, and offsite reputation analysis.
  • Turning SEO insights into clear, actionable recommendations and helping execute against them.
  • Evaluating content at a high level to determine if it is helpful, unique, trustworthy, and genuinely useful for users.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to plan and execute SEO initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Serving as the connector between outlines, editorial teams, and freelance writers to support SEO-driven content production.
  • Applying SEO best practices to real-world challenges and adjusting strategies based on performance.
  • Pitching in wherever needed to help strengthen the team and culture, excluding licensed activity.

About You:
  • You adapt easily when priorities shift and stay focused in a fast-moving environment.
  • You enjoy learning new tools, platforms, and technologies.
  • You're comfortable working independently and taking ownership of complex tasks.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in conversation.
  • You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working across teams.
  • You bring a strong customer-first mindset to your work.
  • You approach challenges with curiosity and strong problem-solving skills.
  • You have a sharp eye for detail and care deeply about quality.
  • You show up consistently and can be counted on to get the job done.

Nice to have, but not required:
  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
  • Prior exposure to digital marketing or SEO concepts.
  • A basic understanding of HTML and how websites are structured.
  • Familiarity with offsite SEO strategies such as link building, online reputation management, or community engagement.
  • Interest in how AI and large language models can improve workflows and influence the future of SEO.
