Job description

Sea Pointe Design & Remodel is Orange County’s premier design-build remodeling firm, nationally recognized since 1986 for exceptional additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and whole‑home renovations. We are committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship, unmatched client service, and a collaborative, rewarding work environment for our team.

We are seeking a Residential Skilled Craftsman with broad residential remodeling experience to join our Production team full-time. This hands-on role performs high-level work across multiple trades while contributing to beautifully executed custom projects for discerning homeowners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform demolition, framing, drywall, finish carpentry, tile setting, and other construction tasks to high-quality standards.
  • Execute minor electrical and plumbing work under licensed supervision.
  • Install flooring, cabinetry, trim, and interior/exterior finishes with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site daily.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Lead Craftsmen, and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule and within scope.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools and manage material handling and transport.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members, representing Sea Pointe’s commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of residential remodeling or construction experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of home construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Own truck, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and complete set of trade tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities, craftsmanship focus, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Professional, positive attitude with a friendly, people-first approach.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements

  • Medium to heavy physical work: frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs.; occasional lifting above 50 lbs.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and working at heights or in confined spaces.
