Job description

Position: SDET

Location: Austin, TX (3 days onsite)

Duration: CTH / Contract to Hire

The Consultant really needs to focus on heavy REST API automation testing along with strong Java coding. 

Required Skills:

  • True SDET (not just a QA Automation Engineer)
  • Strong API automation experience using Restassured
  • Framework development from scratch (Custom-built open-source framework)
  • Programming Language: Java
  • JMeter (highly preferred; used for load testing) - Wraps around Rest Assured and JMeter
  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azuredev Ops)
  • Fintech domain experience is highly preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs

Ability to:

  • Perform end-to-end testing
  • Place trades, validate data, and handle multi-day validations
  • Conduct data validation and write complex queries
  • Patch code independently without developer assistance
  • Build and maintain test frameworks from scratch
