Job description

Wellness Advisor & Body Sculpting Specialist (Part-Time) (Revised July 2026)

WHO WE ARE

We are a Torrance-based Health & Wellness studio with a simple mission: to help individuals live healthier, more confident, and more fulfilling lives through personalized care, innovative services, and a supportive environment.

We offer a comprehensive range of non-invasive therapies designed to elevate well-being and help clients feel, look, and be their best, including cryotherapy, infrared sauna, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, compression, halotherapy (dry salt therapy), red and blue light therapy, PEMF, low-level laser therapy, and advanced non-invasive body sculpting.

Our studio sits at the intersection of wellness, recovery, and aesthetics, working with clients who care deeply about both how they feel and how they look.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an energetic, client-focused Wellness Advisor & Body Sculpting Specialist to guide clients through their body transformation and wellness journey.

This role blends front desk services, consultation, sales, and hands-on service delivery. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience, educating clients, recommending personalized treatment plans, and supporting them throughout their program to ensure results and retention.

You will play a key role in helping clients feel confident, supported, and excited about their progress — while contributing to the overall growth of the studio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Experience & Consultations

  • Provide a high-touch, “WOW” client experience from first interaction through ongoing visits
  • Conduct consultations to understand client goals, lifestyle, and concerns
  • Educate clients on non-invasive body sculpting and wellness services in a simple, approachable way
  • Set clear expectations and guide clients toward personalized treatment plans

Sales & Client Retention

  • Recommend and sell packages and programs based on client goals
  • Confidently guide clients toward committing to a plan (not just single sessions)
  • Build long-term relationships to support retention and repeat visits
  • Encourage referrals, reviews, and client engagement

Body Sculpting & Service Support

  • Perform non-invasive body sculpting treatments (training provided)
  • Track client progress and support accountability throughout their program

Studio Operations

  • Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment
  • Perform front desk operations, scheduling, and client communication
  • Assist with social media content, promotions, and in-studio marketing efforts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of customer service experience; sales experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in aesthetics, med spa, fitness, beauty, or wellness is a major plus
  • Interest in body sculpting, skincare, recovery, and holistic wellness
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable with consultative selling and guiding clients toward programs
  • Ability to learn and confidently explain treatments and technologies
  • Positive, energetic, and personable with a passion for helping others
  • Social media/content creation experience is a plus
  • Spanish-speaking is a plus

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE

  • High client satisfaction and strong relationships
  • Consistent conversion of consultations into packages/programs
  • Strong client retention and repeat bookings
  • Clients feeling supported, educated, and excited about their results
  • Contribution to a positive, team-oriented studio environment

PAY & PERKS

  • $16.90/hour + bonuses based on personal sales & client tips (as an example, bonuses are typically around 15% on body sculpting packages)
  • Free & discounted services at Beach Cities Cryo & Wellness
  • Free & discounted services at partner businesses, including our chiropractor
  • Hands-on training in cutting-edge wellness & aesthetic technologies
  • Opportunity to grow within a fast-evolving wellness space

SCHEDULE

  • Part-time, hours vary
  • Must be available for evenings and weekends
  • Shifts may be half or full days
  • Typical shifts begin ~15 minutes to 1 hour before open and/or end ~15 minutes after close

Studio Hours:
Mon–Wed: 10:00am – 7:00pm
Thurs–Sun: 10:00am – 4:00pm

We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
