Job Summary:

The Lead Quality Assurance Dynamics 365 Engineer is responsible for coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals. They provide QA support for the Dynamics 365 roadmap, including the design, implementation and execution of automated and manual test plans to identify bugs, verify system functionality and ensure software applications meet operational and design standards. Participates simultaneously in multiple IT project implementations. Has a working knowledge of advanced QA concepts, practices, and procedures. Brings an enterprise level perspective to designs and solutions.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Lead team Quality Assurance initiatives and provide guidance to other engineers. Act as a mentor to less experienced team members, providing technical guidance and support. Additionally, take on a leadership role in cross-functional teams and provide strategic direction for complex projects.
  • Lead the Dynamics 365 Quality Engineers, ensuring they complete projects and commitments on time and within budget. Oversee QA work for multiple projects simultaneously and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of Dynamics 365 via thorough testing.
  • Lead knowledge sharing and shared understanding amongst the team.
  • Provide functional training, as well as procedural and technical guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Work with team leadership to set and track delivery and development goals for individuals on team.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive QA documentation for Dynamics 365 systems and processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Work with other IT teams to test integrated systems end-to-end.
  • Provide on-call support as required to ensure timely resolution of critical after-hours issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Recruits, selects, coaches, and develops team members.
    • When direct reports are assigned, conducts performance reviews per HR guidelines. Takes corrective actions, including Performance Improvement Plans and terminations, when necessary. Also manages professional growth and development plans.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Requires deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 Sales, Service, and Customer Insights Journeys, typically obtained through higher education combined with experience.
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms is a plus.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 6-8 years of prior relevant experience.
