Job description

E-logic is seeking an Acceptance Testing (UAT) Lead to drive the hands-on execution and team coordination of a high-profile state integrated eligibility system for Arkansas Integrated Eligibility System (ARIES). You will lead a sub-team of UAT testers, overseeing day-to-day testing operations, while actively executing test scripts alongside your team. This role requires an excellent balance of technical testing capability and team leadership within the public sector space.


Key Responsibilities

  • Actively perform test executions, write test scripts, and manage a dedicated pod of UAT testers.
  • Oversee comprehensive defect logging, tracking, and triage processes utilizing JIRA and SpiraPlan.
  • Guide and perform multiple testing disciplines including web application testing on mobile devices, regression script maintenance, application integration testing, and 508 compliance testing (using JAWS, IBM Level Access, etc.).
  • Create, update, and execute UAT SQL queries and automated test scripts to ensure robust data validations.
  • Deliver functional cross-training to State and contract team members on new system behaviors and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience working on relevant software projects supporting state human service programs (e.g., Medicaid, CHIP, SNAP, or TEA).
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous UAT experience on at least one integrated eligibility engagement that supported multiple benefit programs simultaneously.
  • Proficient with test management tools (SpiraPlan, JIRA) and familiarity with automation frameworks (Selenium, SoapUI, Smart Bear).
  • Ability to perform SQL queries and write automated scripts.
