About the role
The Staff Writer is responsible for researching, analyzing, and creating high-quality content focused on firearms, Second Amendment issues, self-defense law, constitutional rights, and related public policy matters. This position serves as a critical bridge between complex legal concepts and everyday citizens by translating legal developments into accurate, understandable, and engaging content.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the firearms industry, federal and state firearm laws, self-defense legal principles, and the ability to communicate complex topics with clarity and precision. This individual will contribute articles, legal analyses, educational resources, interviews, and multimedia content that support the organization's mission of educating and empowering responsible firearm owners and self-defense advocates.
Duties and Responsibilities
Legal Research and Analysis
  • Monitor and analyze federal, state, and local legislative developments affecting firearm ownership, concealed carry, self-defense, and constitutional rights.
  • Research and interpret court decisions, legal opinions, regulatory actions, and legislative proposals.
  • Translate complex legal issues into clear, accurate, and accessible content for a broad audience.
  • Stay current on emerging trends and developments within firearms law and self-defense jurisprudence.

Content Development
  • Produce well-researched articles, legal breakdowns, educational guides, opinion-neutral analyses, and policy updates.
