This is a contract to hire role that will work onsite M-Th and remote on Friday.

Position Title: Quality Assurance Analyst

Position Overview: Quality Assurance Analysts oversee the quality assurance process from a high level to aid in resource allocation and process modification from an overall company perspective. They possess a proven ability to analyze software requirements and design documents, transforming this information into test cases for various types of tests. Additionally, they are skilled in writing automated test scripts and developing planned test data. With full software life cycle experience, they actively participate in project review meetings and lead peer-review meetings of developed test materials. Analysts perform formal tests, install software applications, execute manual and automated test cases and scripts, write problem and change reports, conduct regression testing, and efficiently report test results.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively to manage client and timeline expectations.
  • Interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including co-workers, engineers, managers, and clients.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand the client's perspective, a strong desire for quality, and attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to comprehend various aspects of application issues.
  • Maintain team enthusiasm and promote a positive atmosphere during problem-solving and prevention efforts.
  • Display diplomatic skills to promote improvements in QA processes and foster teamwork to boost productivity.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5-6 years of experience in test automation.
  • At least 4 years experience in creating automation testing strategies/plans and automation design documents.
  • Proficiency in standard test methodologies like SDLC, Agile, etc.
  • At least 4 years of experience scripting with languages like Java, C#, etc.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in developing automation test scripts and creating test automation frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of BDD, TDD, and various automation toolsets and methodologies.
  • Excellent client interaction and communication skills.
  • Experience with core JAVA, Selenium, Appium, and JUnit.
  • Experience with performance test tools such as JMeter, sitespeed.io, SoapUI, etc.
  • Understanding of OOP concepts.
  • Specialist level in API Automation.
  • Experience with Jenkins pipeline, process deck, and Drupal CMS.
  • Ability to work on tickets related to Drupal components, component testing, and databases.
  • Experience with Selenium with Java, Serenity, Cucumber.
  • Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman.
