About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and articulate Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional English communication skillsโboth written and verbalโand a passion for creating clear, user-friendly documentation. Youโll work closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to produce and maintain high-quality documentation for our products and internal tools.
Responsibilities
โขCreate, edit, and maintain clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user guides, installation manuals, release notes, and API references.
โขDevelop and organize content for both Word-based documents (e.g., reports, manuals) and online documentation portals.
โขCollaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across all materials.
โขUse Markdown (preferred) and other markup or publishing tools to create and format online documentation.
โขMaintain document version control and ensure consistency of tone, terminology, and branding.
โขParticipate in reviews and continuously improve documentation processes and templates.
Qualifications
โขExcellent command of English, with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
โขProven experience in creating technical documentation for software, hardware, or technical services.
โขProficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign and other documentation tools.
โขExperience with online documentation platforms such as Confluence, ReadTheDocs, GitBook, or similar.
โขFamiliarity with Markdown formatting.
โขStrong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently.
โขKeen curiosity to dig into details of system architecture and understand how things work from a customer perspective by using the system.
โขAbility to put yourself in the shoes of your audience and anticipate questions and answers from their perspective.
โขExperience with user-centered design methodologies.
โขBachelorโs degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Experience
โขExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
โขBasic understanding of HTML, CSS, or Markdown-based publishing systems.
โขExposure to software development environments or technical writing for APIs.
