Job Title: Data Analytics Summer Intern (3 Months)

The Job Details:
The Data Analytics Summer Intern will gain hands-on exposure to how data is used to solve real-world business problems. This role is designed for a motivated college student interested in learning the fundamentals of data analysis and getting an introduction to data science. Working under the guidance of a data scientist and data analysts, the intern will help explore datasets, build basic analyses, and contribute to ongoing projects while developing practical skills in Python, SQL, and data visualization.
Responsibilities:
  • Explore and analyze datasets to help identify trends and patterns
  • Assist with data cleaning, preparation, and basic exploratory data analysis (EDA)
  • Write Python scripts and SQL queries to pull and summarize data, with guidance from the team
  • Shadow data scientists and assist on tasks related to machine learning projects (e.g., labeling, feature exploration, reviewing results)
  • Build simple visualizations and dashboards to share findings
  • Document work, including code comments, notes, and a final summary of the internship project
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and learning sessions

What We Are Looking For:
The Ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications.
Experience
  • Exposure to commonly used tools like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, Docker through coursework or personal projects
  • Interest in or familiarity with machine learning concepts (no professional experience expected)
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Any exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Snowflake is a plus, but not required
