Script Reader Interns typically spend their days reading and evaluating scripts, writing coverage reports that include summaries and critical analysis, and sometimes participating in team meetings to discuss promising projects. They often collaborate with development executives or producers by providing objective feedback and helping to identify scripts with strong potential. Job description

SPORTS MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

Bridgewater, NJ + Remote | Part-Time | Perfect for Athletes & Fitness Enthusiasts

No experience? No problem.

We care more about your energy, work ethic, communication, and willingness to learn than having the perfect resume.

If you’re an athlete, love fitness, spend way too much time on social media, and want to learn how marketing and relationship-building actually grow a business, keep reading.

WHO WE ARE

Strive2Move is a sports rehab practice helping athletes and active adults get out of pain and back to doing what they love.

We work with runners, golfers, CrossFitters, lifters, and everyday athletes who don’t want to be told to stop doing the things they love.

We’re looking for someone who wants hands-on experience in social media, relationship-building, sports marketing, community events, and lead generation.

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO

Build Relationships Through Instagram

A big part of this role is simple:

Talk to people. Build relationships. Help them.

You’ll:

• Start genuine conversations with athletes and active people on Instagram
• Respond to people who engage with our content
• Follow up with new followers and leads
• Build relationships instead of immediately trying to sell someone
• Ask questions and actually listen to what people tell you
• Learn how to identify when someone may be a good fit for Strive2Move
• Help move the right people toward booking a call with our team
• Keep conversations organized so nobody gets forgotten

We have proven scripts and systems for how we communicate with leads.

Your job isn’t to reinvent them.

We’ll teach you exactly what to say, why we say it, and how to make it sound natural while staying within the process.

SPORTS + COMMUNITY EVENTS

This isn’t an internship where you’ll sit behind a laptop the entire time.

You’ll also have opportunities to help us at:

• Local races
• CrossFit and gym events
• Golf events
• Workshops
• Community fitness events

You’ll meet athletes, help run our booth, create content, start conversations, collect leads, and help us build relationships with the local fitness community.

MARKETING + LEAD GENERATION

You’ll learn how social media actually turns into business.

That includes:

• Following up with leads consistently
• Starting and maintaining conversations
• Using our scripts and conversation frameworks
• Updating lead information and tracking conversations
• Helping manage our CRM and marketing spreadsheets
• Learning how to move someone from follower → conversation → potential client
• Tracking the conversations and activities that lead to booked calls

COMMUNICATION + ACCOUNTABILITY

Communication is a huge part of this role.

Because part of the position is remote, we need someone who communicates extremely well with the team.

You’ll be expected to:

Check in at the beginning of every shift with your priorities for the day
Check out at the end of every shift with what was completed, what is still open, and anything the team needs to know
• Communicate consistently through Slack during your working hours
• Ask questions when you’re unsure instead of guessing
• Flag important leads or conversations quickly
• Keep your tasks, conversations, and follow-ups organized
• Be responsive to coaching and feedback

We don’t expect you to know everything.

We do expect you to communicate.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You might be a great fit if:

✔️ You’re an athlete or genuinely love fitness
✔️ You naturally enjoy talking to people
✔️ You’re warm, curious, and good at building relationships
✔️ You’re comfortable starting conversations with people you don’t know
✔️ You’re coachable and willing to follow a proven process
✔️ You can follow a script without sounding like a robot
✔️ You’re reliable and do what you say you’re going to do
✔️ You’re organized and don’t let conversations fall through the cracks
✔️ You communicate when you’re stuck instead of disappearing
✔️ You can take feedback and immediately apply it
✔️ You’re comfortable using Slack and working with a team remotely
✔️ You want responsibility and opportunities to grow

You do not need previous marketing or sales experience.

We can teach you the skills.

We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, communication, and work ethic.

THIS PROBABLY ISN’T FOR YOU IF…

You hate following scripts or systems.

You need to be reminded repeatedly to complete tasks.

You disappear when you don’t know what to do.

You’re uncomfortable talking to new people.

You want to spend the entire internship making graphics and videos.

You don’t like feedback.

Or you’re looking for something you can quietly put on your resume without really getting involved.

We will give you a lot of coaching. We expect you to use it.

WHY JOIN STRIVE2MOVE?

Real mentorship. We’ll teach you the systems we actually use to grow our business.

Real communication skills. You’ll learn how to talk to people, ask better questions, build relationships, and confidently communicate with potential clients.

Real experience. You’re not doing fake intern projects. Your work will directly impact the business.

Sports environment. You’ll work around athletes, gyms, races, fitness events, and an active team.

Room to grow. The better you get, the more responsibility we’ll give you.

You don’t have to come in knowing everything.

Come in hungry, coachable, communicative, and willing to follow the process.

We’ll teach you the rest.
