Job Description

Job Title : QA Engineer

Duration : 12+ Months (Possibility of Extn.)

Location : Basking Ridge, NJ


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts based on evolving use cases and product requirements.

Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

Perform concurrent testing activities in multiple environments (web, Android, iOS).

Identify, report and track defects.

Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.

Perform thorough regression testing when issues.

Conduct exploratory testing on evolving leading-edge product with a special focus on quality of user experience 

Requirements


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Knowledge of SQL and scripting.

Experience with JIRA tools.

Experience with performance and/or security testing.

Experience with testing video applications


Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:


BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.


5+ Years' experience working as a QA engineer.


Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, processes and best practices.


Experience writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts.


Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.


Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
