Make a difference in the medical field as a virtual or medical scribe with Scribekick! We are looking to hire remote medical scribes out of the following states: Virginia, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. Those interested in onsite scribing need to be located in the state of Virginia in one of the following areas: Blacksburg, Roanoke, Salem, Midlothian, and Richmond.

As a scribe, you will get one-on-one time with physicians and other healthcare providers, paid training that provides in-depth knowledge of patient chart documentation, EMR systems, medical terminology, procedures, medical decision making, and more. Specialties that we provide services for include but are not limited to: Primary Care (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics), Orthopedics, General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Urology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary, Radiation Oncology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Pain Management.

Scribe Responsibilities

• Real-time documentation of patient information into the EMR while accompanying the physician during their clinic hours remotely
• Input orders as directed by the provider including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.
• Handle any and all patient information with the utmost compliance to HIPAA regulations

Scribe Requirements

• Consistent availability Monday through Friday (at least 3 days per week, 8 hours per day)
• A computer (PC or Laptop) that can run the latest version of Windows (Windows 11) or MacOS (MacOS 26.3).
• Typing test score of at least 60 WPM
• A secure office workspace
• A pair of headphones with a microphone that can connect to your computer
• Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail

• Compensation is an hourly rate of $12-$15 per hour based on experience
