Quality Inspector Job Duties:

  • Data Review, data entry, and general analysis of data.
  • Monitor, maintain and control all testing equipment for calibration
  • Ensure that all the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed
  • Ensuring parts being shipped meet customer specification.
  • Control Documents
  • Create forms as needed
  • File and scan documents as needed
  • Sort of product
  • First piece approval
  • Pre-shipping inspection
  • Incoming certification review
  • Core Tools
  • Follow all health and safety requirements

Quality Inspector Qualifications:

High School Diploma or 2 Years’ Experience,

Ability to read micrometers

Excellent communication skills

Basic blue print understanding

Good math skills

Basic Computer Knowledge

Administrative and Analytical Skills

Multitasking ability

Self-starter

  • Ensure production requirements and standards are met
  • Read and understand blue prints, job travelers, etc
  • Operate machinery and maintain it with care.
  • Report all machinery issues to management.
  • Work cooperatively with production team to meet quotas and goals.
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions.
  • Follow all health and safety requirements
  • Maintain appropriate tooling for each job.
  • Understand raw material and raw material requirements
  • Read and understand control plans, set up documentation, work instructions, etc
  • Understand all quality procedures, quality policy and quality objectives with special emphasis on EQ-4
  • Understand ethics policies, IATF and organization’s requirements
