Responsibilities
  • Have experience with print
    • Inspect for pinholes on every first print
    • Print consistent, high-quality products
    • Achieve and maintain low error rate
    • Achieve and maintain high output rate
    • Continually inspect products for factory defects and other in-house errors
  • Maintain active work status while on-duty:
    • Clean work areas when not busy
    • Seek to assist others in completion of duties
    • Request other tasks or cross-training from managers
  • Carefully read order paperwork with attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly with other workers (catcher) about paperwork
  • Listen and respond to other workers to accomplish high-quality work product (teamwork, collaboration, respect)
  • Learn product styles and colors
  • Learn and understand the end-to-end order production process
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Other duties as assigned
Expected Outcomes
  • Ability to visually and verbally identify product styles and colors
  • Continual improvement of quality and/or quantity of work
    • Low error rate as determined by supervisor
    • High output rate as determined by supervisor
  • Ability to competently fill various positions within print shop / warehouse

Measuring Performance
  • Need to calculate an average production rate per hour and then assess an individual's performance based on that average. This can be self checked or monitored by a 'Time and Motion' staff member.
