Summary: Operates an automatic screen print press with the purpose of screen printing single color and multi color designs on an assortment of garments by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
Reads work order to determine type and location of screen print.
Sets up and registers screens in screen print press.
Selects hardness of squeegee for proper ink deposit.
Verifies and loads the correct ink into the correct corresponding screen.
Adjust amp; regulates flood bar and squeegee speed and pressure.
Verifies correct board type and size based on art location and garment type and size.
Performs test print and receives approval from customer service, art department, or supervisor.
Loads and unloads garments insuring correct art placement and straightness.
Repairs salvageable garments due to missing ink or out of registration.
Inspects prints during operation, eliminating pin holes, streaks, or ink contamination.
Other duties assigned.​
