Pay Rate:        $14.19 per hour

Position Summary:
Position is responsible for overall order within lunchroom.  Maintains standards in lunchroom according to the principal and manager of each school.  Works as a member of the Food Service Team. 
Qualifications:
Must be able to work under crowded and increased noise level conditions. 



Must have a fun-loving disposition and interact well with children. 

Must be willing and able to relocate to different schools when occasion warrants. 

Must complete 10-hour sanitation course once hired.  Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instruction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Stock silverware, napkins, and condiments.  


Put trash bags in cans and in position for use. 

Clean tables. Assist with setting, serving line up, and monitoring during mealtime if necessary.  

Assist in scraping trays, and assisting students with various duties (opening milk, etc.).  

Responsible for cleaning tables in between use and as spills occur.  

Assist with putting stock away labeling, dating, and rotating using the FIFO (first in, first out) method.  

Serve meals and assist in dish room as needed.

The employee will be expected to perform any other duties requested by the manager.
Safety and Sanitation:  
Reports all malfunctions to the school manager.  


Will clean tables and chairs according to sanitation guidelines.  

Make daily and weekly inspections of kitchen conditions in order to maintain high standards of sanitation and safety.

The employee must frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally is required to lift up to 50 pounds such as boxes of books and paper materials. 

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
