As a Lot Attendant with Guardian Fleet Services, you’re the heartbeat of the yard—keeping our operation sharp, organized, and always ready for action. You manage vehicle flow, maintain a clean and safe lot, assist drivers and customers, and help keep our high‑volume towing yard running smoothly. Every shift brings fast-paced movement, teamwork, and the satisfaction of knowing you’re supporting one of Florida’s strongest fleet and towing operations. It’s hands-on, energetic, and essential to our daily success.
Job Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Lot Attendant to join our scrap and crush yard team. In this role, you’ll help keep the yard running smoothly by organizing incoming materials, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and supporting daily operations with a strong attention to detail. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, outdoor work, takes pride in keeping things orderly, and can handle a fast‑paced industrial setting with confidence.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Ensuring the lot is organized, clean, and free from trash, litter, and debris
  • Preparing necessary cars for part removal
  • Overseeing and maintaining inventory
  • Replacing sold vehicles and empty spaces with new inventory
  • Informing supervisor of issues as they arise
  • Lot inventory and systems what type of systems (database, ERP)
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Car part knowledge and dismantling experience preferred
  • Must be able to speak, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to communicate calmly and effectively
  • Must work outside in the elements (rain, snow, heat, etc)
  • Time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting work, hours, and information
Physical Requirements
The job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing. significant physical strength and stamina. Ability to lift and pull at least 50 lbs. Good hearing and vision are required.
