Summary/ObjectiveWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Developer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in test automation, specializing in RF testing with a strong emphasis on Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) systems. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise in automated testing and the ability to consult on electrical engineering topics, particularly power systems design and compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust testing frameworks and provide engineering guidance to maintain compliance and performance standards.This role is a single-point contributor and will report to the Vice President of Hardware Engineering within the System Engineering Organization. Success in this position requires the candidate to be technical, hands-on, and willing to engage in test activities in and outside of lab environments. Travel is expected to be minimal for this position. Hybrid and local candidates are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for RF systems, focusing on WGS testing protocols.
- Execute and analyze RF test cases to validate system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automated testing into development and deployment pipelines.
- Apply software development best practices, including version control (Git), code reviews, and continuous integration (CI/CD).
- Document test results, issues found, and corrective actions in a clear and organized manner for traceability and compliance.
