Job description

GENERAL PURPOSE: Score keep at scheduled games tournaments and league play scheduled by the Athletics Division. Documents player/ team incidents and accidents during game play. Operates scorebook, time clock or scoreboard.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the direct supervisions of Athletics/Aquatics Supervisor/Athletics Recreation Specialist who oversees Athletic sport leagues and event programs. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Informs and enforces league sport rules during game play. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Will score keep and help maintain flow of the game by answering and clarifying any rule or interpretation of rules.

Documents in scorebook and also operates scoreboard. Assistance with administering first aide procedures to an injured participant, filling out necessary documentation and informing Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS: DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: Course work in health and fitness and sport knowledge, coaching, first aid and CPR certificates desirable.

Work experiences all age groups in a recreational setting a plus. Knowledge of determining athlete fatigue and injury. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: CPR Certification a Plus First Aid Certification Required.
