Why Drive for Central Oregon Truck Company?

Central Oregon Truck Company was built by flatbed drivers-and it's still run by flatbed drivers today. Since 1992, COTC has focused exclusively on flatbed freight, building a reputation for strong pay, safe operations, and drivers who know their craft. Now, we're hiring in your local area!

That focus shows. COTC consistently earns top CSA scores, keeps freight moving, and has been named one of the Best Fleets to Drive For(R) for eleven years running. If you're an experienced OTR driver ready to step into flatbed-or a flatbed pro looking for a company that does it right-COTC delivers.

Regional Driver (CDL-A) Job Overview
  • Pay that keeps building. Top drivers earn up to $127,000 per year, starting at a 60CPM base with up to 4CPM in performance incentives on top. The more consistent you are, the more your paycheck reflects it.*
  • A pay floor you can count on. Qualifying weeks come with a $1,350 weekly minimum,* so you're not left chasing miles to make ends meet.
  • Loyalty pay that starts immediately. Earn up to 5.5CPM in loyalty pay from day one* - no waiting period, no runway. It adds up fast and stacks on top of your base rate.
  • Extra pay for extra work. Tarp pay at $75 per tarp and dwell pay at $100* help make sure your time and effort are compensated when the job asks for more.
  • Home every other weekend. This is a regional role with a consistent reset schedule - get home every 2 weeks so you can plan your life around something predictable.
Company Driver Benefit
  • Insurance that has your back. 100% company-paid medical premiums, plus company-paid life and passenger insurance.
  • Retirement made simple. 401(k) with a 4% company match to help you build for the future.

  • Bring someone along. Rider policy available for qualifying drivers.
  • Late-model equipment. Kenworth T680s with manual 10-speed transmissions for drivers who prefer full control on the road.

All pay and bonus amounts may vary by job type, location, experience level, and performance and are subject to change based on company discretion. Talk with a recruiter to confirm specific details.

There is no deadline to apply. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
