4-day work-week schedule.

For more than 30 years, Victoria Hearing Center has provided comprehensive hearing care to Victoria and the surrounding communities. Founded by the physicians of Victoria ENT & Allergy Associates, the practice operates as a trusted, ENT-affiliated clinic delivering diagnostic audiology and hearing aid services in a collaborative medical setting.

They are seeking a patient-focused Hearing Instrument Specialist to help patients improve their hearing and quality of life through hearing evaluations, hearing aid dispensing, patient counseling, and ongoing hearing healthcare. The ideal candidate is service-driven, enjoys building long-term patient relationships, and is confident guiding patients through hearing technology solutions.

Scope of Practice:
  • Perform hearing tests and hearing evaluations for adult and pediatric patients within the scope of Texas Hearing Instrument Specialist licensure.
  • Evaluate hearing needs and recommend appropriate hearing aid solutions based on each patient's lifestyle and communication goals.
  • Provide patient counseling and patient education regarding hearing loss, hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and connectivity features.
  • Fit, program, verify, and dispense hearing aids from multiple manufacturers.
  • Provide follow-up care, hearing aid adjustments, troubleshooting, repairs, cleanings, and long-term patient support.
Qualifications:
  • Active Texas Hearing Instrument Specialist license or ability to obtain
  • Experience with hearing aid dispensing, hearing aid fittings, and patient care preferred
