Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Infrastructure Project Manager for an opportunity with one of our premier clients in Milwaukee, WI.
Job Summary
The Network Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering enterprise network and infrastructure initiatives across client's environment. This role leads cross-functional teams supporting telecom, network, datacenter, and infrastructure modernization efforts. The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with enterprise IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects including LAN/WAN, telecom, data center, and connectivity initiatives
  • Manage project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Define scope, schedule, milestones, and resource plans in alignment with PMO standards
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including network engineering, security, telecom, and operations
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party infrastructure providers
  • Track project budget, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, status reporting, and executive updates
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and IT infrastructure strategy
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, cloud connectivity, and network modernization initiatives
  • Lead change management and implementation planning for production deployments
  • Manage multiple concurrent infrastructure projects
  • Drive issue resolution and risk mitigation across technical teams

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
  • Experience managing network infrastructure projects (LAN/WAN, firewalls, telecom, datacenter)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments
  • Experience working with network engineers and infrastructure architects
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall / Agile / Hybrid)
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and vendor deliverables
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Utility, energy, or regulated industry experience
  • Experience with:
