Job Description

Developer II is responsible for the development of software.ย 
Essential Responsibilities Duties include (but are not limited to):ย 
As a software developer understand needs and translate those to viable product features and requirements. Deliver modern software design to bring features into the large scale software platform. Responsibility across the full development lifecycle of requirements, design, implementation and testing.ย 
Software development in the areas spanning:ย 
Develop algorithms that are defined by engineeringย 
Define database architecture and implementย 
Interface existing engineering SW toolsย 
Write code to interface to hardware and control that hardwareย 
Develop GUI to interface with userย 
Own revision controlled SW package which includes code and release documentationย 
Automate data visualizationย 
Utilize modern tools for all phases of software development. Collaborating with global, cross-functional engineering teams, Principal Engineers and Architects to build world class medical software. Apply engineering expertise/experience/excellence to grow software architecture through modern and innovative design paradigms. Demonstrate technical leadership with maturity in balancing scope, timing and resources. Demonstrate a quality mindset in all aspects of deliverables for our customers.ย 

Qualifications


Qualifications/Requirementsย  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) 2 years relevant experience.ย 
Strength in programming languages includingPython, Java, Labview, and SQL.ย 
Experience or knowledge in GUI development, database architecture, and interfacing and controlling hardware.ย 
Experience or knowledge in Matlab and website development is a desire, but not a required qualification.ย 
Knowledge of the Software development lifecycle in product delivery and maintenance.ย 
Education in design and development of software architecture using established design patterns. Strong problem solving abilities. Working knowledge of configuration management tools, software build and release methodologies. Able to work in a team environment by demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
